www.aztecmundo.com - why I book there!

I just booked my flight on my own damn website, www.aztecmundo.com I was offered some points on United, but it meant two or three stops - my time is too important. Anyway, I went to United.com and the price was higher. I just figured it would be easier on my website. Not only easier, but less expensive as well. If you want to get a decent price on your trip, just go there and check. I should be very close to "the Big Boys."

Computer Stuff? Go to Your Nearest Micro Center

More Money Saving Tips here! I needed a new laptop computer and printer and my good friend and certified Computer Geek told me I needed to go to the Micro Center, here in Denver. It is located near Tamarac & I-225. I had been there once before... Imagine a giant Kroger or WalMart store just devoted to computer, software, periperals and gadgets for these necessary devices. Anyway, on just a normal Monday afternoon, these guys were swamped with customers from everywhere, buying anything and everything relating to computing, telephony and our new digital universe that man has created.
So, back to the story, I was in search of a decent, but inexpensive laptop computer and printer. After taking a look at the 10" driveless models, the sales man talked me into a unit with a drive and more memory. After all, we will just be using this to go to www.aztecmundo.com and www.Aisle19.com, once we get up and running. As we got squared away on the main items, the salesman pointed out two additional gadgets that might also simplify things. The first item was an Inverter, which would allow us to run the computer and printer from the cigarette lighter in the car - very useful! The second involved a much smaller device called a "Tornado," which allows a person to connect two laptops together, to share info, thus avoiding having to set up a network, simply to swap files.
All in all, the shopping experience at The Micro Center was favorable and probably less expensive than shopping at other competitors. I did notice, for instance, that most of the bigger ticket items were being sold for less than MSRP and my $120 HP printer had a $70 rebate, so I was able to see many choices in the respective computer categories, and get what I thought were good deals. In this case, not shopping online seemed to make more sense because we needed the equipment quickly and at a decent price.

My Cool Travel Ad!

Searching For a Laptop

I went looking for a Laptop computer...Wow! There are so many places to hunt for a good price. There's Ebay, Craig's List, Office Depot, Office Max ... I'm overwhelmed! Later today, I'm going to the Microcenter to see what they have. I really don't want to spend that much, meaning $150, but I guess we aren't there yet. Maybe someday and that will be a real bargain. Anyway, I will have more to report later about the unit I actually buy. Hopefully, it will be a better unit than my Toshiba, which was recently trashed by a curious, button ripping 2 year old.

How I was able to get these income producing websites

As a follow-up post, I thought I would tell people how they can set up their own travel and savings portal business. Let's face it, more and more business is being done over the internet. Why not harness some of these dollars in a legitimate way? Go to www.aztecmundo.info and there, you can see how this is done. Joining YTB is very affordable, when you consider how much it would cost to set up your own business. You need $500 to start and you pay a $50/mo web hosting fee. These are all business deductions as are all related costs. A tax lawyer went through this business and estimated that the average tax deduction per member would be about $5,000 to $10,000 annually. Of course this varies per individual and you need to verify this with your tax professional. I like travel and I shop on the internet, so it is a perfect match! I can answer more questions at smittyden@aol.com or go to www.aztecmundo.info. If you want to get your own business off the ground, we can do this!

SAVE MONEY AT THESE WEBSITES!

Hi There! In these lean times, it's important to know where to go to save money when you are looking for something. I recently started a travel website called www.aztecmundo.com travel and I can invite people to shop through a savings portal called Aisle 19. There, you can shop 600 stores and get BETTER DEALS than if you went to their websites individually. To get to Aisle 19, you have to be invited and it's free! Simply email me at smittyden@aol.com and I can send you an invite, which has a special access number!
